Supporting a person experiencing dementia: MHF survey
We, the Mental Health Foundation, are working in partnership with Monmouthshire County Council and Mind Monmouthshire, to understand more about the needs of carers who are supporting someone experiencing dementia. You may not recognise yourself as a carer right now, or you may have supported someone in the past, but we would like to hear from you if you have ever provided support to someone experiencing dementia, this could be to a family member, friend or neighbour.
Over the coming months we will be gathering information, across the UK, through this survey and small workshops, to help us to understand the steps that can be taken to support carers and their needs as they help someone who experiences dementia.
Some of our recommendations will come from your answers in the following survey, but any response you give will be completely anonymous (we won’t be able to identify who you are).
Please complete this survey to the best of your knowledge and experience, it should take 10-15 minutes to complete.
Thank you.
